I was there for both - but I lurk a lot. The other one: not pleasant. This one: not pleasant.

TWFT is supposed to be pleasant. We're all very chill writerly types. What is all this hostility. It harshes my mellow.

:/

Sounds like you guys need to roast some marshmellows (mallows?) over a campfire and sing Kumbaya a few times. Srsly.

Thanks, Becca! I read Graceling followed by Hunger Games, the writing was so good in those and then I read what I have. *shakes head*

It's usually pleasant. In all the time I've been there only two arguments... both involving the same person, now that I think of it... whatever. I participated in the first one, much to my later embarrassment. What can I say? All my comebacks were stupid :tongue

I know what you mean, Choco. *sigh* This is the reason for more lurking, less talking. I get agitated and just x out the page.

Blah.

Same here :( I just get fed up by all the ignorant/rude remarks (from one person in particular).

I think it's mainly caused by one person. Sigh. I know what you mean TWFT is supposed to be fun but it isn't as much anymore.

I have an idea who that Person Who Must Not Be Named might be. :X

VOLDEMORT!! *runs away before Death Eaters arrive*

You guys can always hang out here. But we're old, so we might repeat ourselves sometimes. (This is due to our memory loss and/or Alzheimer's setting in.) But we're old, so we might repeat ourselves sometimes.

Do you want to see the original SM? I mean, srsly, for shits and giggles. Because it was that horrible. If I can learn this much in a year, then anybody can. Trust me.

But I'm a girl and I'm just as quick to launch into an argument. I agree that TWFT isn't as nice as it used to be, but it is most of the time. This is the worst it's been for awhile.

Dude - I read Graceling in two days. Even with back to back classes and work. It was THAT AWESOME.

Fire is sitting on my bookshelf waiting to be gobbled up in similar fashion.

Wow, that drama over there was entertaining me a lot. I love drama when I'm not involved. I mean, people who have read my book can attest ;)

But sorry you guys had to deal with it :(

*sneaks into refugee camp (even though the worst of its over)*

I'm feverish and don't have the brain capacity to keep up with the TWFT thread. :tongue

Sigh. I know what you mean, TWFT is supposed to be relaxing but it isn't as much anymore.

*jumps on bandwagon*

Ou! Ou! Ou! We should make smores!!

KC blamed it on testosterone...

Some people do seem to have an excess amount lately. If there was less testosterone and more estrogen in the world, I'd bet we could solve most world issues with a very large chocolate bar. :D
