In my novel WIP I mostly follow four characters. Until now, I have been using third person limited POV for the main character.
Is it acceptable/standard/make sense.... to alternate third person views, keeping the view consistent within a chapter. That is, in chapters 1,2, and 3, I would write through the main characters eyes. In chapter 4, through another characters eyes. In chapter 5, through yet another characters eyes, etc etc.
I don't want to write omniscient, partly because of a craft/skill level of my writing. I'm getting comfortable with third person limited.
Thanks for any thoughts or suggestions.
