Vaguely familiar, all of them, but not even enough to start searching. Maybe something i only checked an episode or two of.

Think of how you would caption the last picture, in the most literal sense. That should start to get you pretty close.

Hm, definitly never seen any episode of that, maybe it looked familiar because character design is by the same guy that did Gungrave.

I either simply use google (there's a tab for "pictures"; since I use the German browser, I don't know its name in English, but it should be easy enough to find). If I don't find anything good, I try fansub.tv, which is a site I found via the "google pictures". If they have the anime, they have a wide variety of pictures (many per episode), and ones that are otherwise hard to find (e.g. don't include the main characters).
However, they will often have subtitles, which - as Lhun said - makes guessing easier. (If you're more patient than I am, you might find good, no-sub images. But I explicitly wanted the coins, so...)
All the ones I've done are on my computer, so I literally just take a screenshot.
