Yeah, the story will be a boost for them and they'll live happily ever after, just as they should. Nice story! Thanks for the link.

Neat story, Ruth. I'll be sending it along to my daughter who owns a Pit Bull bitch and two (count 'em) two Chihuahua males. :D

From the article
The dog warden writes that we need to change our opinions of pit bulls: "You may find a loving, loyal and dedicated companion to fight for like our Chihuahua friend did. Perhaps this story will give you a second chance to revisit your thoughts and opinions concerning Pit Bulls. They deserve the opportunity to overcome a stereotype that can most certainly lead them to death."

YEP!

Thanks for sharing this story! So cute!

Loved Max, my pit bull. She passed away in 1979, but I will never forget her sweet and loving self. And she was so beautiful, too.

Thanks for the sweet link...

I wish I lived in the Washington area. I'd take them in a heartbeat.

We have 2 rescued pitties and they are the best, most loving dogs ever. (Let's not speak of the rescued Dalmatian, aka the Princess, who is, um, NOT the best dog ever. LOL) Our American Staffordshire Terrier is pretty much, pound for pound, the best dog we've ever owned.

Legislation should be against bad pit bull owners, not the dogs, because how pits act is all dependent upon how they're trained. They just want love and to do whatever earns them that special "good dog!" from the people they love.

Chihuahuas, on the other hand...;)
