Here, there, everywhere.
:hi:

Who would think a family of four could accumulate so much stuff over the course of ten years?

Not that cold here, but it's suppose to get colder with the possibility of snow.

Oh. Here's more like:

1. Stupid TV weather people predict 8" of snow.

2. Everyone rushes to grocery store to stock up for coming ice age.

3. Schools canceled.

4. 1/2" of snow falls.

5. TV weather people congratulate themselves.

The UPS guy just brought your book.

Expect a review later. ;-)

I'll be hiding in my closet if you need me.

Today is my son's first day of home school. So far, he has dedicated several hours to evasive maneuvers. I think I'm going to have to glue his butt to the chair.

It's snowing!

Oh, I guess that's not exciting news for most of you. Never mind.

I just made a pot. It's just seemed like the right thing to do on a snowy late afternoon.

I have lots to do today, and I don't feel like doing any of it...

Well, I don't feel like starting, anyway. Each individual task is something that I want to be over and done with. It's just getting my arse into gear that's the hard part.

*drinks moar coffee*

Hmm.

Last night I saw an ad on TV for Carnevale in my city (Italian festival). I love soaking up Italian stuff, so I immediately wanted to go. But I just checked the website, and I'm pretty sure nobody would want to go with me.

And yesterday they closed down the train lines in my area of Adelaide, to revamp them. So I won't be able to get to the city by train. Going alone is just not an option.

So do I suggest going to something you have to pay to get into, knowing my family won't enjoy themselves?

I feel so weird whenever I have a "me" day that involves other people. Like, for Carnevale I'd be constantly feeling like I was responsible for whether my family enjoyed themselves...

So I have no idea if I should even suggest it.

Noone else in my family has an interest in Italy. In fact, my grandad is pointedly anti-Italian, because he fought WW2 against them.

So I probably won't be going...

...

Anyone here in the House Of Fun feel like popping down to Australia to go to an Italy Festival with me? *ignores the fact that it'd be cheaper and quicker for everyone else in the HoF to just go straight to Italy itself*

:D

That's one of the things on my list of things to do someday, spend a few months in Italy. Of course, there's a hundred other things on the list.
