I had been trying to clear my mine before writing, but that wasn't working. But VMars has been perfect. Gets me right into teen angst mode. LOL!

I've got 1,400 words done on the SNI #2....I'm feeling kinda good about this!

Good luck writing today!

So far it's about a girl that became a paraplegic from a school shooting. I have the beginning of it in the SYW section....hint hint! LOL

I'm thinking about weaving in my traditional paranormal tendencies...but haven't decided what way to go with it yet. Working that out in my mind! LOL

I'm decent at multi-tasking....so I think that I can pull this off...besides...don't they always say that while querying one make sure that there's another one at the ready in case they don't like that particular one and then you can offer the other one as an alternative?

Hmm. Interesting. I'll check out the SYW part of it soon. I have tons of other things that have to get done first though (my wip, beta reading that I'm so behind on, house cleaning, etc). Good luck with it. I don't think it would hurt at all to have two ready and waiting.

It's not uber long...only about 600 words or so....it's the really short first chapter. Kinda the "after"....then I'm going to do the "before"....and then go back again to the after. The "before" isn't going to be super long though...only about 2 chapters....then go on to the "after" again for the rest of the book.

I'm behind on house cleaning too....I think that Kenny's FINALLY getting it because now he's not doing exactly what I ask him NOT to do...so I might hafta step up & start cleaning again! LOL

LOL. Yeah, my hubby is horrid at cleaning even when he tries. I sometimes thinks he does it on purpose (like the Everybody Loves Raymond episode). Alright guys. Going to write and I'll be back

Ooopsie poopsie!! Sorry....I didn't think about it! I prolly shoulda rep'd her huh? LOL! Don't worry...that's only the short first chapter....in the 2nd chapter it will happen & it'll be quick....then it's back to her dealing with the changes & the new lifestyle.....

Still sick and so not ready to go to class today either. I hate it when I have a nasty cough and I end up coughing in class or on the train.... I do cough into my shoulder but I tend to get in coughing fits so probably not a good idea to go to school until my coughing starts to settle down a bit more.

Ah, thanks for the explanation! No worries - it's only by coming to this thread I found out what happened and, like you say, it would all come out in Chapter 2 anyway (& I guessed it might've been something like that or a bomb at school anyway).

i do write fast when I get to write. That is the problem. I can't write for days because of other duties, but when I get a chance, I can totally make it up. I am such a slow writer when I'm just winging it though/

LOL I ended up writing instead of doing hw. 350 words written in I don't remember how many minutes. I think I did the last 150 words in 7 minutes. So yeah, definitely not as fast as you Erica hehe.

Gonna write until I start hw at the top of the hour. HW for an hour then writing for 30 minutes. Then HW again for an hour, then save writing for after class. By then it'll be 2:30 and I should start getting ready to leave for the bus that'll take me to the train station.
