Happy birthday to me, I finished typing the draft!!!! 4K lighter, three new scenes, and line-edited. I'm going to copy it into a pretty formatted file scene by scene for a final once over and then second beta round....

YAY Congrats on finishing your line edits, Chels! (Mind if I call you that?)

I'm writing, too! At a Starbucks. I'm close to 1K too. 843 words... *chugs along* Technically I've reached 1100 because I cut 300, but LSB only adds up new words lol.

I did go to the Borders that's closing in my area, but all the YA books were 20% off and I wanted some hardcover ones, so I'll try to check back on Friday to see if the sales got better.

I did get a writing craft book, though, that seems pretty good. I wanted to get it now in case someone grabs it. I also hid the last copy of Th3 Sky is Ev3rywh3re because I really wanted that book. I also want Acr0ss the Univ3rse and Hal0 (they had more than one copy left) but all of them are hardcovers and I only have $35 to spend lol.

Karla- Yeah for writing today! Keep on chugging along beside me. I just hit 2K. I'm about 1/2 way through Chapter 27 which means only 2 1/2 more chapters till this draft is done!

D: I never wanna reformat again.

With that said, never using AVG PC-Tuner again. Fubs everything up, Microsoft Office doesn't want to work right, and system restore goes all to hell because of it. D: I didn't have a fun Sunday morning.

Goooooood Moni's Morning to y'all~~~~~~~~~~! I went to bed about 7 am this morning & just woke up about an hour ago.....I couldn't get on the puter because Kenny ws in the middle of the "Drawings That Will Save The World!!!" they won't really save the world....but you'd think that they would with the way he was hovering over them. I wasn't sure if the drawings were for school or for personal use. Oh well!

Yesterday thanks to SYW I started a rewrite of the beginning of SNI #2...managed to change it's name now to Phoenix and get 3,606 words done. (That was after an entire delete of the original work!) SO now my goal is to do 2k-3k words a day....I can do this....

I'm going a little out of my comfort zone with Phoenix....but I think that it's working.

ETA: Oops...must need coffee or something! Happy birthday Chelsea!!! GOOOO Karla~~~~~~! GOOOO Erica~~~~~~~~~! Woo hooo! Ok...I think that I remembered everything if not gimme a nudge!

June, I'm so jealous of your $1 books. I'm trying to be patient, since our Borders is only 20% off right now (since I've been buying with 33% off coupons, this is not really incentive to buy). This will not stop me from going to Borders tomorrow. Have to use my writing home while I can.

I did, a bit. Finished the typing, and am going through each chapter with a fine-tooth comb to polish voice and such, which is fun!

Also, I read for class, but it was Northern Lights by Jennifer Donnelly, one of my absolute favorites.

Ohhhh my gosh you guys. I'm doing the Fictionista's Writing Collective. I applied as sort of a lark, but it looks like it's going to be intense on top of my school work.

Hopefully it will help me shape BV up, but.... lordy.

Thank you....it's a rather old pic....my hair is considerably longer & brown now (with the blonde roots...I haven't dyed it in about 2 months! UGH!)

You going to be hanging around for a while??? I hope so....I need to "sink my teeth" into some good writing! Hee hee!

Couldn't help it....TNT is running the Angel series from the beginning & his eyes just get to me....kinda like the guy in high school that I was so nutty about I even changed my music from pop to "Modern Rock".....*SIGH*

Still working on my revision (so your vampire bat fangs will have to hold off for now in SYW

) - just trying to get the beats right. Hopefully I'll be able to work on it some more this evening (I keep trying to have a little space between revisions so I can look at it fresh. Sometimes I'm quite pleased with it, other times not quite so much!).

Worked on my query last night to see if I could pull it together from the very rough versions I'd previously been brainstorming, and I was quite pleased with what I came up with (whether I'll still be pleased when I look at it again remains to be seen, lol!).

The bloke is Glenn Quinn of Angel & Roseanne fame. Too bad it was cut short by heroine. I've been watching the beginning episodes of Angel & he's just such a cutie.
