That is hilarious! I did not know reggae versions of monkeys on the bed existed, by the way. That is, well there are no words for how amusing that is. But kids would love it.

That probably will not work for me though. I had a back injury as a child. I do not dance well, or much at the moment. lol.

The next Miss Snark contest is coming up. I am trying to gear up for it. Netz showed me the site a week ago, and then the 'secret agent' turned out to be the agency I am waiting to hear from about the 30 pgs. The winner got their full MS edited, as well as their quiery. Ugh, lol!

Anyway, the rules will be posted Monday, along with the contest date. Here is the site if you are interested.

Hello missing ladies, how are you, lol.

I have been writing on my Selkies. Getting there. Have gotten to the important part about the lead character done. Ooh ah, laugh. Other than that just reading some old works and getting ideas where the story might turn and what it might include. Ha ha. Anyone else miss the 'Koo Koo-clock face'?

Me too - guess our vote to keep the color theme for a few months did not mean sqwat! Lol. Think we should stage a writer's revolt. What do you think. The crusaide for the icons. Chuckle.

You and me both Pixy ;) For once in a long while I feel wide awake. I had a smidge of an sni earlier, but not enough to warrant working on it.

Hi guys, giving up the fight for the other format, one of the other posters had a good point. It is harder to maintain this site with all the glitz. Better simple and all of us happy. Lol. They are going to tweak the font though, so we can play with the size and everyone can see as needed. Yay!

Oh, perhaps I will YAWN too for the first time. I am snipping though, as soon as everyone has read. I a little paranoid when it comes to leaving stuff floating around.

I have supposed friend who has a very old draft of the first MS that I ever wrote and he is always taunting me that he has it and he can show it to people - if he ever cleans his garage and can find it. It's REALLY bad, lol. So yeah, I don't leave stuff lying around anymore.

How does YAWN work?

I made a yummy chicken and spinach pasta tonight for dinner. I think I channeled my inner Giada De Laurentiis. Hehe. A few paragraphs for an SNI came to me in the middle of cooking, so I typed those out while waiting for pasta to boil. Maybe my muse likes Italian food?

Hi Pezie, YAWNing is when everyone gets on at a certain point, such as 40 minutes from not (always on the hour) and there is a secret spot where they post their current paragraph or so of their WIP. Pixie knows why it is called YAWNing, I don't. It's on another thread or forum thing in a different spot here.

Does anyone know any movies that take place in the early 15th century? It's for research. And books, too. But I figure movies will be better.

I got an idea to use the language in Robin Hood's time for CMRH's chapter titles. I like it and my friend likes it, but what are your thoughts?

Oopsie. I am mistaken. My eyes glossed over the Wiki page and apparently RH appeared in folklore in the 15th century. He's really from the 12th century.

I'm currently watching Robin Hood (the one with Russell Crowe) for ideas on phrases. :D
