Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone. It turned out to be one of the most incredible birthdays ever. :)

Shots may (I repeat, may) have fewer calories than baked goods, but I don't care for the memory loss afterwards. :D

I don't remember ever forgetting anything:)

In other news...

*gets out the bubbly*

It's my birthday today. Drinks are on me! :D

Happy birthday Sara! Glad you had a great day.

[helps herself to some Bailey's, thanks]

Got some good feedback from my beta readers on my latest story, so I'm gonna mull that around for a day or two before jumping back in. In the meantime, the weekend's plan is to build a full-size TARDIS in the backyard for the kids to play in. A few days off from the writing thing to do something physical is just what I need.

Would be easier if I could find even one of the eight-hundred gazillion tape measures I own, though. Grump.

I didn't know what a TARDIS was either (oops, my Dr. Who ignorance is showing), so I googled it. :D

The TARDIS[nb 1][1] /ˈtɑrdɪs/ ( listen) (Time And Relative Dimension(s) In Space)[nb 2] is a fictional time machine and spacecraft in the British science fiction television programme (and associated media franchise) Doctor Who.

Looks like fun. Enjoy the manual labour, Suzanne!

Absolutely nothing to say but that I just finished sending a new batch of queries and I need a drink...

Mind if we skip the hot latino music for now? :tongue

Good luck with the queries, Kreuse. :)

I celebrated Mother's Day a week ago - it's always on the first sunday in May, here. :)

And erm... everyone was being so silent, I thought it was best to tiptoe. :D

That is weird. At least we all have a special day! One for moms and one for dads. Different day, but still celebrated world wide! (me thinks) :D

Happy Mother's Day! I know it's kind of late, but I was busy being kind of lazy and enjoying my day. My family got me a Kindle. I am excited, but I have mixed emotions. Now I'm going to feel obligated to buy all my books on it and I do love the tactile experience of reading an actual book.

Sure we do. It's a pub for Newbies and we get Newbies from all over the place. ;)
Erm... yeah... you know, it's... umm...

FINE!

Yes, I'm addicted. Happy now? :D

Hey! I'm not a freak! Just a little... you know... weird. :D

You're not a freak, you're just some kind of sparkly-special-dedicated - to keepin the peace on AW and to friends in font... lol :D
I have almost 2000 posts and I logged-in March 8 this year... so yeah, nearly 2000 posts in 2 months. Dedicated, not addicted - lol!
