It all depends on how you're doing it. I know that typically I aim for at least 60k. If you're writing fantasy, it's better to aim higher. But not much higher than 120-130k.

21! Hi!
So, I was out on a walk (which ended up being about 2-2 1/2 hours), and I think I may have a bit of an idea how Shasta from Horse and His boy felt. The part(s) I'm talking about are when he's waiting at the tombs, and also when he's riding up the side of the mountain. The part with the "cat." I had my own little kitty escort, who would stop every now and then and growl and hiss at something I couldn't see, but then catch up to me. All the way home.
...I love cats.
