MASH-UP IS A BRILLIANTLY AWESOME EPISODE IMO. I'm in love with it. No really. I've watched it a million times.

Although, if Mr. Schue's rapping makes you want to murder something, it may not be the best bet :tongue

Yeah, I think you should watch Mash-Up. It is inspiring and romantic and heartbreaking and hilarious.

What's the one after the one with Halo/Walking on Sunshine? Were those ones in Vitamin-D?

I'm sorry Tally. I've never read much of your work but your query is fab beyond belief.

As far as parents it's my dad who thinks I'm a complete dullard/lazy slob because I write. My mom supports me but sometimes she wonders where I get it. Yesterday we were standing in my kitchen and she looked at me and said 'Are you really my daughter? Did I really have you?' Lol

My mom is very supportive of my writing. If my dad were still alive, he'd support me too. I have great parents. Although sometimes my mom and I do get into fights, but we make up with each other fast.

I need to spend 6 hours writing (breaks included for half the time) today and every day until next Thursday to finish on time. I will snack right now and then it's writing time in 12 minutes!

Halo/Walking On Sunshine is in Vitamin D. Throwdown comes next. Throwdown is also awesome, especially if you love Sue. She is HILARIOUS in that.

ETA: Wait, Kidd, what are you sorry about? And thanks.

Sometimes I get the feeling they don't support me. I don't feel like I can talk to them about my writing, y'know?

ETA: OMG I HATE SUE.

My mom's somewhat supportive of my writing because she's also a writer so she understands. The problem is, she has this tendency to walk in my room and want to talk to me when I'm trying to write. But she snaps at me if I do the same.

My grandpa, on the other hand, is a typical non-writer. He refers to what I do on the computer as "playing," tells me to stop and do other things, and tells mom to publish her book so she can make a lot of money. I've tried multiple times to explain to him that that's not how this industry works but he listens to my uncles too much. (Neither of them knows a damn thing about publishing, but one has a bachelor's in business so my grandpa automatically assumes he knows everything about every form of business.)

Gleeks unite! :Hug2:

And here's a totally unrelated question:

How often do you guys have to hid (or not tell) your age when querying? Do you typically just mention it in your proposal?

A lot of people just don't take my work seriously when they know my age. Do you see those kind of things too?

Throwdown is still pretty important and has Will finally matching Sue blow-by-blow, so you would still probably enjoy it.

ETA: Lilly, sometimes an agent will say on their blog or website or in an interview that they want to know if the querier is a teenager. In that case, by all means, include it. If not, I've generally decided after much research not to. If the writing is good enough, the agent will go out of their way for the age.

What Tally said. :D I've only put my age in a query once and that was because the agent asked for it. Otherwise I prefer to let my work speak for itself.

Who did the Glee version of No Air? It just came on on my iTunes. I have the whole of Volume 1 downloaded.

I HAVE TO WATCH THAT NOW, for two reasons:

1. Rachel/Finn = (though I still think she's a bit of an idiot)

2. Their version is so much better than the original (which I hate)

Okay, then go watch Throwdown. It's a super romantic version. (I found the song kinda long, but it's still awesome)

They're both pretty naive. I love them.
