My older sister told me I have no idea what I'm talking about, and told everyone I use big words to make me look smart and like I know what I'm talking about.

Last weekend she said it to everyone in my oldest sister's house. And the big word I used?

Dystopian.

I'm sorry, sounds like she has some, ah, issues. It also sounds like she doesn't know what dystopian means... But that's just me/my opinion.

I wouldn't get too wound up about it. If the people know you they'll know better, and if not - well actions speak louder than words, so your smarts will show thru, and prove your intelligence is genuine and not a show for people.
