I just discovered this forum earlier today. I don't tend to sign up unless I really want to post something and this time it was the case. I was looking for informations about "how far can a human travel by foot in one day" and I just happened to find this place. And it seems awesome.
I'm a 24-year-old Finnish girl. I've been living in France for a little over five years now. I began to write stories when I was still fairly young, about 10-11 years old. Of course the language was childish and the stories were way over the top, but I used to be quite imaginative. I still like most of the names I made up during those years, for example.
I lost the passion for writing for quite a few years, however. I only picked it up again in 2010 and decided to give it a go in English, which is by no means my native tongue. It's hard, and it will remain so, but at least I've found "my language" for writing. I don't write regularly, and I doubt I'll ever publish anything, but at least it is a dear hobby. I even like my story!
Anyway, thank you, all the people who have started up this place (and keep it going). Looking forward to dig deep in here!
