I hate that too, Thalia. My mom does the same thing. If I did it back, I'd probably get locked up in my room for a week.

2012 will apparently be a good year for me. I've gotten lots of signs that it'll be that way. I don't particularly remember all the signs, but I am feeling really good that this will be the best year of my life my 20 (almost 21!) years

For 2012, I'd like an agent, a book deal, a ton of freelance work and if the previous two aren't enough to cover my expenses, I'd also like a job. 
It is kind of jarring when you go from Glee to Within Temptation on a playlist. Lol.

I hope that the world doesn't end. Can I at least make it to my twenty-first birthday so I can drink LEGALLY? I mean turning 20 this year is nice and all, but 21 has its perks and I want them.
I already said this tonight, but I'm going to be 20 in June. I WANT TO BE A TEENAGER FOREVER.

You poor US people make no sense, you're allowed to drive earlier but you're not allowed to drink for ages, its madness. You're significantly more likely to kill yourself doing the thing they let you do first with our supposedly undeveloped teenage brains.
Muahaha I will be 21 this year. In 2 months and 5 days! WOOT! And I want to send an agent interested in my work the first 50 pages on March 6. That'll be a great present to myself - FINALLY submitting something to her after umm...over 2 years lol
But drinking screws up your mind further. So therefore, teens shouldn't drink that soon. At least, that's what I think is the reason.
Rae: We are allowed to drive legally, smoke cigarettes, AND fight for our country by joining the military. But no drinking alcoholic beverages, WTF? All of those three can kill any of us, why not add drinking? My parents are ex-military and they believe that if you join the military then you deserve to drink alcohol if you are under the age of 21.

Luckily, I have no desires of drinking OR learning how to drive.
Also, my birthday is on June 21. I turn 18.
Quebec. Drinking Age: 18. Driving Age: Learner's permit at 16, full license at 18.
Woot.

Misses Akasha (Is that ok if I call you Misses A?) - I actually finished my first ever novel on my 16th bday. This will be similar, but even better!

Mum's let me drink since I was a kid. She believes it's important to teach kids how to drink properly, and that teens rebel because they can't drink, and end up going overboard.
