Erm, are you referring to pre-week-one events such as campus tours?

Because I only went to one of those.

Are you in Australia?

I'm just looking at what was offered:

The official Faculty Welcome presentation and BBQ,
campus tours, seminars, preliminary lectures, laboratory and tutorial enrolments and other administrative actions, workshops focusing on academic, career and life skills......and so on

It was a busy week

Good morning, house of learning.

Isn't it a bit early for tonadoes? (I haven't been watching the news.) Have you been having them already?

I've got a big net out for any cows that come flying my way.

Nighty will be wanting one of those nets. :D

:welcome: Tiz-mee and Words.Worth.

April is usually the worst time for tornadoes where I live, but they can occur at any time of the year.

The worst tornadoes so far were to the west in Missouri; at least one dead. The storms are headed our way, but so far the warning area is in West Tennessee.

Good afternoon, house of voters.

So far at least seven dead due to tornadoes, hundreds injured, in the states to the north and northwest of Tennessee.

We're under a tornado watch, but the weather hasn't really been bad here so far. It's suppose to get worse later this afternoon.

Batten down the hatches, AC.

I've never experienced a tornado, but it sounds like they mean business.

Tornadoes are ranked from F1 to F5. An F4 or F5 will take out anything and everything in its way.

Because of the air pressures, they can do weird things, like drive a straw into an oak tree.
