Does anyone know how I could find classroom space or any space to do a workshop for writers? Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

I think that churches have rooms they will sometimes lend out. I am not sure if that is what you are looking for, but it is worth a shot.
A lot of cities have community centers and what not, often those have meeting rooms. I don't know what all community centers are like, but the one that is around here allows you to rent the room for a fee (I think).
Also there are a lot of hotels and inns that have meeting rooms. I am not sure the exact way to go about renting these out, but if you are in a bind I would think these would work. Just do a hotel search. It should say on their website.
I would also check with any libraries around. I know the one we have has a couple of meeting rooms, although they are mostly used to show kids movie and things like that, I am sure they would let someone use it when it is open.

I don't know your teaching status or anything like that, but you might want to try talking to any community colleges around as well, and see if they will let you use an empty class room.

Good luck and I hope it works out. I downloaded some of your podcasts on Itunes, planning to listen to them at the gym over the next couple of weeks.
