I've got 15 days to go. But one of them is driving now, so we've got to come up with rules for using the car. Would I rather have her take the bus, or would I rather have to pick her up every day after school. Duh!

I'm sending mine over to your house to put oatmeal in your VCR/DVD player, chew through your cable cords, break off plastic forks in your electric sockets, pee on your side of the bed just before your bed time, leave milk sippy cups in your car and wipe boogers on your walls. :tongue

Oh, man! Anna needs shots before she can go to school. She's not going to be happy. Yes!

You are always so good to me Terri. Oatmeal is so much more pleasant to cleanup than cat-puke. I skipped breakfast, so that will give me a nice snack. Luckily the cable has been disconnected for awhile, so I won't have to rush your little sweetherts to the emergency room, so I'll take them out for giant ice-cream sundei's ( Sp????) Big-Gulp Coca Colas, and I'll buy them each a 3lb bag of Skittles.

Plastic forks in the electric sockets are a super energy saving idea, and inthe winter, they'll help prevent drafts!

She peed on my side of the bed? I must have fallen asleep on the sofa.

Those 'sippy cups' are just about putrid enough to stuff into my ex's suitcase. I'll give them a few more days in the sun.

I'm painting the boogers with 'White Out' letting them harden, then painting over the whole thing. Like the texture??? SOOO chic.

Thanks again, Terri.

My kids still have 2 weeks before school starts. Two long weeks of robbing Peter to pay Paul. Summers are a killer with near full-time child care bills. Once school starts that's one expense that disappears and we can try to catch up on all the bills we've been putting off for the summer and maybe start answering our phone again.

That's where my kids learned those jokes. *off to the store to get more soap...*

White out! And I've been scraping them off for 15 minutes at a time.

Walmart list: Soap, white out, duct tape, peanut butter and a cotton candy maching for Jayc's kids with extra sugar for extra big fluffs of sugar.

Boys and girls club (here) is only 30 a week per kid. Do you have one where you live?

Until the older one got old enough to watch the younger one...we spent summers praying the garder would grow enough to feed us.

One thing I did to fight the expense was talk to other parents. We'd schedule our vacations so Sandy would get the first 2 summer weeks, Bridget would get the next two, I'd get the two after that... yeah..kinda meant that we couldn't leave the city while on vacation, and it meant that each of us would have 5 extra kids, but we saved $$$$ (and ate meat occasionally.)

Went shopping for school supplies yesterday. (Yes, I know mine go back on Monday. Yes, I KNOW I put it off until the last minute. YES, I KNOW THAT MEANS EVERYTHING IS PICKED OVER AND MY SON NEEDS EIGHT DIFFERENT COLOR FOLDERS FOR SOME FREAKIN' REASON AND THEY ONLY HAVE SEVEN. I KNOWIKNOWIKNOW! Sorry. I spent yesterday with my mother.

Whew. Ate some chocolate. I'm better.

On the bright side, only walked out with a few extra supplies for myself. mmmmmm. Smell the new paper.

I start my first year of high school on September 5th. This means that I must finish the WIP before then.
