I'm thinking Weird Worlds, maybe retro-future or steampunk or something like that. I'm in the mood for some Planetary Romance (ala Barsoom or John Carter of Mars maybe). Just throwing that idea out there.

I was actually referring to the massive flop of the recent John Carter of Mars movie, which actually kind of was just that.

Once again I'm trying to comment and the blog is blocking me with some message about not being logged in.
I will say that I have seen the Being Human episode with the zombie, and I didn't find her sympathetic. I was as relieved for myself as I was for her when she died. Arguably, Torchwood did the anti-zombie horde, but even then it was a matter of limited sympathy. I guess it really is a matter of aesthetics.
