That was a great read, and very, very true. I'm a produced writer for TV and film, but in Hollywood speak i have one foot in the grave...too old. Over 50. Dead man walking. And I have a script out there with an A list star attached, a director who has worked with the star previously, and a production company and there is a very good chance that this movie will be made...and I still don't have an agent. I do, however, have a lawyer who is making the deal. But I haven't even looked for an agent, because I'm too old and they don't give a s**t about me, because they figure I'll be dead soon enough. And they're probably right! But keep writing, because you never know. And don't quit your day job. And by the way, there is an online submission place called INKTIPS. $50 every 3 or 4 months. Get the preferred letter and start submitting.
