Never thought that Disney could be rude. All a matter of mind set I suppose.

Hallo Mark!

Disney isn't rude. Disney is delightful. It's the people who are intent on mowing other people down with strollers who are rude. Also we witnessed a biting attack. And a woman who... No, I'm going to stop there. So far we're having great fun aside from the rudeness. :)

Silver, I love romantic suspense!

Strollers used as mowers is indeed rude.

HJ that is cruel! I know this is MTS but "And a woman who... No, I'm going to stop there." is leaving me dangling, wanting to know what, why and when, maybe how.

Except when you're watching stories about that strung out little yellow bear.

Yeah, I'm talking about Winnie the Pooh!

Always looking for his next smackeral of honey.

We know what those stories are really about. ;)

I collect teddy bears, have about one hundred. My favourite, at the moment is Clarence. He gets cuddled every night. Well, it stops me sleeping on my hands. Though it does not stop him from falling out of bed and me tripping over him when I get up and nearly whizzing out of the window. I sometimes think he is only here for the honey . . .

Yep! We did Blizzard Beach today. So much fun. The girl and I did the 7-story drop slide. ::shudder::

rudies! Imagining Disneyworld with a bunch of surly Sean Astin clones running prams into poor Hey Jude. ;)

I'm getting oodles of untenable story ideas today as I browse threads here. This is the most useless yet!

Welcome back, HJ!! :) Now about that biting incident...?
Curious minds want to know. :D

Clarence is awesome. Whizzing out of the window is.... well... somewhat unhygienic. :D

This one was sad. The kid (he was 8, but was quite big) appeared to be autistic and absolutely went nuts on the the tram, which was super crowded. He went for the nearest person and tried to bite him in the chest. Of all places. Oy. Disney can be hard on a kid, can't imagine on a kid who's not-high-functioning autistic.

Cleaning the place and cooking ahead (packaging/freezing my own healthy "TV dinners") today, trying to mostly stay away from WIP and let it cool. May even clean the oven, though that's getting dangerous close to "Fix it chore" in low appeal. (Not that I'd turn on the oven in these 100 degree days.) Some poetry is revised, sent out two batches of what's competent, looked up some more agents for WIP, even found a blog post that made me think "she'd like this novel." Posted a lot here these two days.

But even though I'm being productive at something, I feel strangely guilty for not churning out new fictional words every day. I feel like I got a dishonorable discharge from the daily 500 words thread (I didn't, and I feel welcome there, and it's nuts to feel so guilty and ashamed, but I do!)

Oh, lorna! Give yourself a break and a hug from me. :Hug2: You'll know when it's time for new words.

erm . . . whizzing = flying out of which can be painful but not unhygienic. Mind, if it were Clarence one never knows.

HJ thanks for the explanation of the biting incident. Poor kid.

Back to the grind tomorrow, and the other thing, I'm meeting my favourite author, Simon Kernick.

Great! I put it in my Amazon cart.

Let us know how the meet goes!

I will let you all know it goes. He's books are easy to read, but some readers on Amazon complained about his stuff is not poetic, however, thrillers are not those type of reads, it is escapism.
