Hey guys!

Brand new to the site and excited to jump right in and learn. I'm sure there are a lot of different writers here with a lot of different questions and I'm ready to learn all I can from them. :)

I decided to start writing when I was in 2nd grade. Long story short I found that the ability to escape and be enthralled into an imaginary world amazing. I wanted to create that for others, so I found my passion.

I'm 21, and have a lot to learn from others who have been in the craft longer than I've been alive. Anyway, corrective criticism is gold, and so is feedback and encouragement!

Welcome to the board!

I'm still sort of a newbie myself, but I've learned so much already.

Greetings and welcome back to the watercooler :welcome:

Take a wander around the various forums, there's lots to see and lots to learn, and even some fun threads too. Come along and pop on over to the Newbie Pub (at the top of the Newbie forum) and say hi, there's plenty of friendly faces that you can chat with and lots of banter. There's also the Question of the Week thread at the top of the Newbie forum where you can answer random questions.

Don't forget to read the newbie guide, and if you want to know what all the buttons mean check out this thread.

DignitynWisdom. Welcome. So I hope not paying attention in class in grade 2 did not hold you back. I can just picture you sitting there barely able to squeeze in or out of your desk. Then when you stood you were like 2 feet taller and eight years older than the next biggest kid in class. You made your own lunch and drove yourself to school and...well...enough about me. I have to get off the computer, the recess bell just rang. Happy writing. Calvin
