Morning, all.

Sammy, congrats!!!

Suki, awesome!

Lily, much employment dust for Mr. Lily!

(((lwalker)))

Blond, woohoo on finishing!

Have to drive to RI today. Remember the creepy hospital pics I posted? I'll be back there, and then somewhere in Providence (most likely driving around, totally lost). Gonna be a long day as I don't expect to get home until around 11 p.m. Ugh.

Yuck on the drive, Ink. Are you by yourself? Do you listen to audiobooks?

I try that sometimes with my kids, since we don't do DVDs in the car, but there aren't too many titles at the library appropriate for young children. I always see a lot I'd like to listen to though! Instead we just do car trips the old-fashioned way.

"I spy something green."
"A tree?"
"Yes!"

Unfortunately, yeah, I'm alone. I can't do audiobooks, pathetically poor ability to process words that way. But I have am mp3 player in the car so plenty of tunes.

It's driving around Providence that worries me. I have a very tight timeline for getting from group 1 in rural RI to group 2 in Providence, and if I get lost, I'm screwed. I am inevitably going to get lost - I've been warned there's lots of construction and my GPS will be useless. Never having been to this place before... it's not looking good.

Sadly, no. It'll be after hours and the office closed. I'm hoping the person I meet with first can give me the cell number for the guy in Providence.

And yeah, the hospital is awesome in a creepy, inspiring kind of way. Makes me want to write a horror story.

Morning all.

OMG- RIngu Yes!

It kind of set in last night that I need to get off my duff and finish this WIP. I'm starting to run out of books to sub places.... Kind of wild- never thought I would be in that situation.

Behind you!
Wow, I can't believe that I only had to read two pages to catch up. What's with you people?

Today's the day I intend to restore normalcy. Got the downstairs detritus from a rabbit visit dealt with. The birthday trappings shouldn't take long. Gotta dive back in on laundry or convince Mr. Maryn commando's okay in warm weather. Swamp out the bathroom the kids used--in some ways he's still a child, and that's one of them. But I'm thinking by mid-afternoon, in between loads of wash, I can actually write. Woo-hoo!

Maryn, looking forward to it

Maryn, you wouldn't have to convince any of the males in my house that commando's okay.

Yeah, hubby wore a kilt in our wedding, and we had to bribe him with silk Scooby Doo boxers to not wear it the...proper way.

Morning, purgs! Had a thoroughly distracting weekend, but am very much hoping that this week will be the week things return to a normal level of frenzy at work. Because seriously, a girl can only take so much.

Repped my way through the last several pages, though I know I have no hope of catching up. Therefore I shall steal one of Rick's wonderful summaries:

:partyguy::TheWave: YAY SAMMY! :TheWave::partyguy:

rep please!

CONGRATS, TRI!

Kimmi - vamp dust for the snail mail request!

Lily - thinking good employment thoughts for Mr. Lily.

Cindy - good luck on your C1arion talk tonight!

(((lwalker))) Congrats again, but hugs since you weren't able to share with your mom.

(((Blond))) WOOT! for finishing your revs, and fingers crossed Agent and Editor love it!

BTW, FSOG - loved it! *

...Er, except for that last part. :D

The only thing I enjoyed about FSOG was the incredibly hilarious GR review of it with the Bert and Price gifs that it inspired. but you know, it was almost worth it for that reason alone. I still read that review after a particularly bad day.

{{Ink}} Good luck with the drive(s).

....And augh!! I just remembered that I AM GOING TO SEE MUMFORD & SONS THIS WEEKEND.

Here's to normal, Sunna. And then here's to better-than-normal -- may we achieve that next.

Happy birthday, mini-Steve!
