UPDATE 4/12/13

Well...I released Invincible on Wednesday night and right now it's a freebie, and will remain so until Saturday to take advantage of the weekend crowd.

As for Waiting for Darkness, I have so far sold 27 copies, which I think is pretty good considering the lack of promotion.

I am working on the sequel and hope to have it out by the middle of next month, so here goes nothing.

It has been two weeks since WfD went on sale and one week for Invincible. I think Invincible is seeing slower numbers due to the fact that it's 2.99 and also not as sexy as Waiting for Darkness.

Hoping to finish the sequel for WfD by the end of the month!

This is kind of surprising because Waiting for Darkness has a lot of sex in it while Invincible doesn't have a single kiss. I was under the impression that erotica/hot romance always sold a bit better compared to other genres, but I guess this is not always the case...

I'm sorry to post updates every day, but my sales have been really, er, odd. I'm not looking a gift horse in the mouth, but where are people getting the info about my books? I've done zero promo, although I will be buying an advert spot at a romance review site that has a great deal of daily traffic, so we'll see how that changes the numbers.

Basically, I've made over $250 in two days. Totally flabbergasted.

Once your books are higher in rankand end up on top 100 lists, the sales generally keep coming. The higher in rank, the better visibility they have.

INVINCIBLE - 176 (8 borrows)
WAITING FOR DARKNESS - 137 (5 borrows)

Sales have slowed, which is expected. Still, I'm selling about 7-10 copies of each book daily which is amazing to me. I have a new release, BITE, which I'm hoping I can get out by the 2nd week of May, so I've been working on that these days.

I realize dollar amounts are pretty private, but I have no qualms about posting them at all, and if this information helps anyone else, I will consider my job done.

My first month on KDP with one novel and one novella has netted me over $450USD and I hope to hit 500USD by the end of this month.

I hope to see sales go up a bit more with the release of Bite, but who knows? The only thing I can continue to do is just write and keep writing.

All in all, I've made a little over 500USD this month and I feel very lucky. Sales definitely slowed in this past week and a half, and I'm hoping a new book release in the end of May will help pick up sales.
