[Agency] Anne McDermid & Associates

One of their agents, Monica Pacheco, is currently reading my full. As far as I can, tell she's fairly new and very friendly - she even posted here on AW a few times - so I'm excited. Trying to stay realistic, though.

For the record, she was very fast - I e-mailed her at her personal address, and she responded within two days. (She also misspelled my name, but, er, that's nothing new by now. *g*)

So, does anyone have any experience with them? Agents include Anne McDermid, Martha Magor, Monica Pacheco and Chris Bucci.

Queried Anne McDermid back in January since she was a Canadian agent. Never got a response.

Congratulations on the full!! I don't have any experience with the agency, but the agent reading your full seems pretty good! Good luck!

incognitopress is well-respected
yes, they used to be my agents. Not anymore. Nothing personal about Anne, she's very distinguished, but my opinion is she handles their A-list clients only. Everyone new is repped by the other guys. Oh well.

Anne is my agent, and I have not a bad thing to say about her, or about anyone else in the agency.

Curious about this, but I doubt I'll get an answer after ressurecting this thread lol.

Per her sig, she's currently repped by Veritas Literary, so I expect it didn't work out.

Sorry, I was out of the country when you posted that (Clarion West, baby!) so I didn't see it sooner. Monica sent me a kind, personalized rejection about a month after I sent the full.
