A publisher or agency using Google ads to solicit your novel probably isn't anyone you want to write for.

The Crossing by Cormac McCarthy

I finished reading The Crossing a couple days ago, and I've just got to say that it really blew me away. What a book! I mean, it makes almost every other novel I've ever read seem like a work of children's fiction in comparison. The gripping plot, the depth of the characters, the beautiful yet sinister Southwestern setting, the philosophical and psychological insights, the whole damn thing. Like I said, what a book!

Just wondering if anyone else here has read it. If so, I'm looking forward to your input.
