Hello All,

I'm working on the draft of a novel now and am posting w/ two goals in mind:

1) I need a deadline so that I actually push the rest of this novel out, and
2) I'd like the security of having beta readers set up in advance.

Sooo....,

Anyone like to read a 90,000 word novel with premise as follows-?

Title: The Serpent Sisters

Premise: The Serpent Sisters are a group of three women who control local politicians and businessmen through sex, charm, and blackmail. Lulu, 26, is the sassy, playful middle Sister with roots in a ghetto community she affectionately calls “the neighborhood.”

When Governor Jonathan Screen Sr. ‘s anti-crime “Clean Up” campaign threatens to kill her brother, incarcerate her Sister, and destroy her neighborhood, Lulu mobilizes all her wealth and seductive prowess in counterattack. In the process, she damages her relationship to the Serpent Sisters and it is questionable whether this crew of women can survive the effects of the "Clean Up" campaign as an intact family.

I'd be sending the manuscript by email on June 1 (I'm in Tokyo right now, snail mail is a little slow and waaaay expensive), and would gladly read anything in return. There's an excerpt of the first 1,000 words under SYW. Thread's title is: The Serpent Sisters - Would You Read On?

There's a fair amount of profanity & adult themes, be warned.

Thanks in advance for this. Feel free to PM me or post directly to the thread.
