A publisher or agency using Google ads to solicit your novel probably isn't anyone you want to write for.

Odd question
All of mine seem to fall into that category though.
![]() I have two full mss at publishers at the moment. I normally wouldn't mention unpublished works in a novel query to an agent, but I'm wondering if this should be an exception. Heaven knows when I'll hear from the publishers about these. I expect it to be a minimum of a month, probably more. Of course, I mention my published short stories, but should I leave off any mention of these? Or say something like "I currently have two novel mss being considered by publishers." Opinions? |

Wouldn't mention it. If I were an agent, my immediate thought when you brought that up would be, "If he's sending it directly to publishers, then that means he couldn't find an agent."
