Dragonlover--that is an amazing column about the kid with juvenile diabetes. Sometimes adults prove themselves unworthy of the "adult" title and kids do a much better job of showing us how to be mature.

Thanks for sharing your paste!

Thanks. I liked that article, because it wasn't biased (Okay, it was biased against jerks, but we all are). It proved the point that there are idiots on both ends of the spectrum, and no one is immune from callousness.

My paste is something I was going to PM to someone here. Alas, she is not accepting private messages and does not share her email. Will she see this?

Hi, I'm Maryn's daughter; she's asked me to make some recommendations for servers for your business.

As to free servers, I was very happy with a number of sites that seemed to be owned by a single company; 5u.com, 20fr.com, and 20m.com are some of them. I haven't used them in a few years, but at the time when I did, they offered a respectable amount of space and bandwidth (with ads, of course), and they let you have your own subdomain (http://yourbusinessname.20fr.com, for example).

Getting your own domain can cost as little as ~$10 a year, and has advantages that go with it such as a more professional appearance, and email addresses that protect the privacy of your real email address.

Currently I pay for server space at HostSave, which costs something like $100 to $120 a year, and offers an absurdly large amount of server space and bandwidth without ads. I haven't had any problems with it. While using it can take some getting used to, I've been very happy with it, if you are considering paid server space.

If you have any more questions for me, you can contact Maryn here and she will let me know.

"Corollary"

It was from another thread. I took it to dictionary.com because I didn't know what it meant.

Funny... it was on my paste too, but because I was checking the spelling....

Chocolate Chip Muffins

1 Egg
2 tb Vegetable oil
2 c Bisquick baking mix
1/3 c Sugar
2/3 c Milk
3/4 c Chocolate chips

Line muffin pan with baking cups. Beat egg slightly in medium bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Divide batter evenly among baking cups. Bake at 400F for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.

(I'm making my own personal cookbook of the dishes/treats I make most often and this, apparently, was the last entry I copied and pasted.)
