Holy cow! Those poor animals!

I just had a F3 or F4 strike down near my town (northern Colorado) the other day. It was scary, and I was really worried about my horses. Thank God they're okay, and so is everyone I know.

Is that footage of the pig farm? They mentioned that on the radio... Rumor has it no livestock was injured but the farm is gutted.

4000 sows and 4000 piglets - vast majority are okay and already being trucked out to other pig farms to be fed and housed.

Yep, they are airing an interview now. The workers took shelter in a building that wasn't hit and the pigs were not in the buildings. Lucky.

Of course, this only enhances the world's opinion of Oklahoma as a bunch of red-neck, pig farming yay-hoos. Alas. Glad as hell those folks made it out of there okay, though. Can you imagine being that close to...that? Jeez.

The workers first saw it from about 200 yards away! It was moving so slowly, however, that they said they had plenty of time to get behind the brick wall.

I mean, there were miles and miles of nothing on either side of the buildings. It couldn't just go there, it HAD to go straight for the buildings?

Buildings out in the open are tornado magnets - and the strongest of these is the mobile home.

There are way too many tornadoes in that footage. I've watched at least ten, maybe closer to twenty separate tornadoes filmed TODAY. NOT COOL.

Ol' Boy and I were discussing that as we watched them live... it's pretty bad that live tornado broadcasts almost count as entertainment these days - especially in Tornado Alley.
