Shimmer

Tomorrow it will be 21 days of waiting for my Shimmer submission, and according to Duotrope and the Shimmer website, you should query after 21 days (I think). Has anyone ever had experience like this with Shimmer? I don't want to seem pushy so any suggestions would be appreciated!

It seems a good sign, but you need to query IMHO.

I would wait another week or so before querying, in case they're just running a little behind.

Thanks y'all. I just read their website more carefully and it says if they have to hold onto a story for longer than 21 days, they'll contact you. I think I'll wait a couple of days past 21 and if I haven't heard by then I'll query.

Arrrgh!!! I hate waiting! Shimmer is a really cool magazine - I didn't even submit my story to any of the pro markets and didn't simultaneously submit. Wait, wait, wait...duotrope, check email, wait...

Tburger, it is better to query than to fret. Nobody is going to award you extra points for waiting a couple of days. The website says query after 21 days.
