I've never read something so funny and yet so sad. I'm sick, but I can't stop laughing at the image. I know you're okay (at least physically), but I'd feel better if I knew the elderly lady survived the ordeal. I had something similar happen to me, but it wasn't a person. I was helping my brother-in-law move his new gun safe, which was delivered when he wasn't home. We had it on a dolly and were trying to lift it up and over the door sill. Bottom line, it fell on me. My sister walked into the breakfast room, saw my arms sticking out, and started screaming. My b-i-l was trapped outside, unable to get past the safe. It happened post-Katrina, but I can't remember how I got free. I guess some things, like the hurricane, are best to forget.
