I have mulled over whether I really wanted to admit this to anyone or not. But, man, if I am going to meet my internal deadline for finishing this WIP I have to get over this hump. I don't know how to break through it.
I have everything that happens in the finishing chapters in my head. I know the sequence, I know who does what when, why, how, etc. I know the conflicts and the resolution. I can hear the dialogue in my head between the characters in the different stages of the chapters. I can see every rock, tree, animal, the way the wind whips through a character's hair, the sound of buffalo thundering through the grass, I see it all so clearly. I know the ending. I have it nailed. But I can't write it. I sit down with my pen in my hand and I stare at the page. No matter how long I sit there nothing comes out. Creativity is bursting from my pores since joining AW and I can't write a word on my WIP. I am frustrated to tears.
How do I get past this? Anyone?
