Claude will be awesome, so long as they properly cast them. Sometimes the casting director makes me absolutely scratch my head. Like, I was looking forward to Chow, expecting some hot Japanese guy, and they cast that ugly thing as him. Very disappointing.

My only probably with the whole town forgetting what Maryanne has done: Who is going to clean it all up before the people are out of her control? Even if they didn't remember their debauchery, there's still a messed up town to contend with.

Paris Hilton as trailer trash....yeah, she should play Crystal.

It'll be very interesting to see how they handle the aftermath of Maryanne! You'll have those who weren't under the influence and those that were seeing things differently. Tara seemed to remember some of what happened so it'll be interesting! But then Eggs never remembered killing those people or anything (????????????????)

I see a young Antonio Banderas as Claude... and a young Katherine Zeta Jones as Claudine... but that's just me.

That is probably why I did not send too much time imagining him... And, he is not even NICE!!!

I hate to say this, but most really good looking mean are nice at first, but then you find they're not so nice......why? Cuz they don't have to be, and women put up with a lot to be with a drop dead handsome guy......sigh.....and the rats know it.

Yea, but he should still be pretty to look at. :)

Oh yeah, like one of those guys who are better off just standing there and posing (and not speaking). I see him as dark hair (obviously), pale skin and light colored eyes for some reason. Did they mention his eye color in the books?

Well, I'm back from my little hiatus on this thread. Like some of the others, I too was disappointed about last week's episode. It seems like they just threw the episode together. The scene with Tara and her mother plotting against Layfayette and Sookie was silly. As was with Tara running back to the lion's den to only to be snagged by Maryanne again.

I have high hopes for the season finale next week.

My predictions:

Lafayette and Eggs will die with Maryann

They had better NOT kill Lafayette! I would be so upset. Layfatette is too entertaining of a character. I agree that Eggs will end up dying. I think that is unfortunate since he and Tara hit it off so well. But he seemed to be doomed right from the beginning.

Bill will be cast aside next season

I stand by my preference for Bill. Sorry Hettie, but I have not reformed from my evil ways ;0).

Eric will be there ready to console Sookie

I hope not! What consoling could Eric possibly do for her?

Also, didn't Eddie say when you're turned, you are what you at the time? So how can Eric have cut off his hair and it didn't immediately come back? I know in the books, Bill told Sookie once that it was lucky he hadn't had a beard when he was turned, or he would have always had one <shrug>

You know, I was wondering that same point about Eric's hair. Poor Jessica will have to live with being a virgin forever because of the timing with her being turned. I agree, Eric does look better with long locks. Maybe he'll grow it out again.

Okay already. I'm going to buy and read the books. I'd like to be in on the conversation on what looks like to be quite colorful characters that don't exist (or haven't as of yet) in the TV series. It gives me an excuse to buy a Kindle. Does anyone here have an ebook reader? Is it worthwhile?

In the land of AW's... /oz/ get it???
I ordered my Kindle last week... SHHHHHH it is a secret here! I have friends with both... the Kindle they say is easier because you can just download from ANYWHERE, whereas the Sony, you must buy from your computer then tranfer via usb cord or something. I actually downloaded the Barnes and Noble reader (a free application) onto my computer and bought a book I could not find in stores or Libraries. So, it is an ereader too! But, not as compact. So, if you want to see how you will like it, you might want to do that free thing first!!!

Thanks for the info. I first had the idea about the Kindle last week while sitting on a plane across from a guy with one. I have a backpack that I lug around everywhere that never has less than 2 or 3 books in it. And it gets sooo heavy. A buddy of mine was teasing me because he's reading the True Blood books on his iphone. I didn't even know iphones had an ebook reading capability. I'm not ready to do the iphone thing though.

The Kindle 2 has gone down in price recently to 299... plus if you get the Amazon credit card, (like I needed another card to NOT use) they give you a 30 dollar credit on your statement. Good luck in whatever you decide! I am personally excited to get mine (hopefully on the 11th!).

Great! You'll have to let me know how you like it once you get it. I'm still debating on spending the money on it ($299 isn't too bad), but I'll probably know better by next week (once I've had more time to think about it).

Excuse my ignorance, but which network is this show on? I have On Demand as well and would like to catch it.

It's on HBO, you have to subscribe to HBO in order to access it, even on Demand. If you have HBO, it's under the Premium Channels tab, HBO, then Series, then True Blood.

You ARE kidding, right????

Well having read all the books, I gotta keep my mouth shut on the outcome....unless they realy change it from the books, which they might:Shrug:.

But I'm with you Hettie......YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING! Bill over Eric? Urm....no.:) Besides, if you read the books, you know why Bill went home to Bon Temps in the first place. Let's not forget that little fact.

Just an FYI......there is a NEW Sookie Stackhouse book coming out in October 2009. I already pre-ordered it. Im not going to get a Kindle...not only cuz I really can't afford it right now, I just personally still love having a "real" book. But that's just me. I know a lot of people love them. I guess as long as they're reading.........

I will buy the BOOK when it comes out... love the feel, smell, weight of it, plus it will be part of the set I have on my shelf. The Kindle will be for travel, and instant gratification and book club books!!!!

It is so hard to keep the info we know on the DL for the people who have not read the books.... get to it darlings!!! Don't you agree EG???
