I KNOW!! I was hoping mine didn't notice the drool that was dripping out of my mouth all over my sweatshirt during Damon's open shirtted dancing scene. How about those abs??? Good Lord.

Got a Verve from my boss. Hoping it works.

YEAH - and that post... um...DUH??? So, first, writing is only done alone when you don't have a great group like you guys - it doesn't have to be a solitary thing. Share your work and bounce ideas around like we do and your work becomes a lot better. Second, 250 words a day? That's one page. What if your'e on a roll, are you supposed to stop? I usually try to do 1k/day anyway, so Nano isn't that huge of a leap. And yeah, guess she's never heard of YA or second drafts (3rd, 4th, 5th drafts). Plus 250/day allows you time to reasearch? Shouldn't you do that before you start? That whole post is just dumb.

HAHAHA! Well, I don't research much before...or during...okay at all really, unless I need something like sci fi stuff. Planning and plotting = my downfalls. Along with others, but the two troublesome "P"'s always get me too.

I did research... and then my book took off in a whole new direction so I researched as I went. I was easily able to pull off 1k a day + research on Perspective when I was in the groove.... mind you maybe it was crap...

This is interesting since i'm planning on doing a blog post on Poetic Liscense, lol.

Yeah, I didn't right RTD for years b/c I thought I'd have to do so much research on the Depression, Cotton Mills, mountain lore, etc. Then after I went on a Davinci Code Tour in Paris and they said how Dan Brown completely changed Parisan architecture for a scene, I thought, "Well, what the hell!"

Yeah, the sci-fi is my NaNo. I like to use placeholders for names and locations. So i'm not worried. And most of the action will take place on the ship, the young crew of the USS Something as they find themselves the only survivors of a disease that killed off the older folk. In a War Zone.

Let the infighting commence.

I've done a little reasearch for a couple of the one's I haven't actually written yet. I have one about whale watching and Inuit Mythology, one about Benedict Arnold and John Andre and how that all went down, and one about voodoo/zombies. I have a bunch of bookmarked, random webpages.

I still love my paranormal/spy/civil war YA romance idea...adding that back to my list for someday writing...

I counted once and had started over 20 ideas/WIP's. Each as it's own little folder on my flash drive. Wish I could stop thinking of new stuff.
