Oh right, I remember now. I swear, I'm going to have to clone myself to read all the awesome stuff being written around here.

Geek - It's so stupid, in my opinion. My best friend married a guy 3 years younger than she is. They are perfectly happy. In general, when you're younger, the guys tend to not be as mature, but they catch up for the most part. (well, that's arguable, I guess...) :)

My hubby's 6 years older than me, and he's STILL a big kid. I don't think there's any growing up. That's why you grow together.

On a different note, I've been a total b***h since Gav got home. I didn't eat anything today cuz I didn't feel like it. Then I was totally emotional cuz he came in whining about hurting his finger playing soccer. Then he turned on a soccer game and said (over the music I was listening to), "Oh, is it ok if I watch the football?" Now, I'm trying to eat the curry he brought home, and I am just not hungry AT ALL. The thought of food makes me want to puke. (No, I'm definitely not pregnant...) :(

Sure sounds like pregnancy....hahaha

Actually, it's funny how upset we can get over soccer. My hubby watches all the time, spends all his computer time on sports, and on the one day of the week I *should be able to* sleep in, he schedules indoor soccer w/ his friends. AAAAAGGGG

Y'all, my characters have their eye rolling under control, but they shrug, laugh and nod way too much. Probably b/c I do those things too much. *head explodes*

ETA - So, I'm a total loser. I posted a comment on Jeaniene Frost's blog, and got really excited when she responded. :D So, yeah...a total fangirl.

Sure sounds like pregnancy....hahaha

Ha ha...if I wasn't really sure I wasn't pregnant, I'd be worried. But, I'm not. :)

Well, Gav got bored with his soccer game, played some soccer on XBox, and then turned on a good documentary on the 1930s. We're both fascinated with that time period. We watched a documentary on Art Deco last night. :)

I'm in a much better mood now that I ate something...even though it was only like 5 bites of food. :(

I definitely have lots of gazing into people's eyes. It's interesting, since I don't really do a lot of that. LOL. I wonder what else I have too many instances of in my WIP.

Kate,

My characters suffer from extreme gestureitis!! LOL

Lots of eye rolling, nodding of heads...it hasn't progressed to shrugging as much as the twitches of head shaking and nodding!!

Hi! I'm adding a small scene to Yarrow... I have to add another day of travel in there to fit something back in that was cut out earlier.

I feels good to be writing instead of hacking! I can't wait to get back to Perspective!

I'm rereading the series too, in preparation for the movie... I also just finished re-reading Anne of Green Gables, because I read Before Green Gables, the prequel, and it was awesome, so I've started the rest of that series again. I'm a rereader.

My daughter is playing Mrs. Barry and ummm I think Mrs. Spencer (sp? ACK!) in the play AoGG. We read it this summer (well, I read it again and she read it for the first time) in preparation for the play. I LOVE that series.

It's mainly series that I re-read.... I tend to like them best, though Jane Austen gets at least a few nods per year.

No!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't... I won't! Jane Austen... must stop reading... must stop watching...

I'm having a bit of a Jane Austen fit right now. Watched P&P 3 (almost 4) times yesterday and read it today. Was thinking of Sense & Sensibility tomorrow. I think I need an intervention.

I'm in love with Jane Austin! LOL

My sister told me there is a new Emma mini series I won't let myself watch it until they are all available so I can watch them all at once.

Morning everyone! Geez...there wasn't too much activity last night, huh??

So, this morning, I actually got dressed for a change! I'm talking, jeans, a shirt, AND a sweater. This is far from the usual yoga pants, t-shirt, and robe. So, maybe today is going to be a productive day?? Ha! Also, I dreamed about my characters...I think. It was either that or I dreamed of the characters from Wicked Lovely. I can't remember...but well...I woke up THINKING about Fred and Aeron (my characters)...so...maybe writing??? I HOPE I HOPE I HOPE!

I'm dressed too!!! Though I'm still not wearing a bra... That's how I judge how productive I am:

Dressed = so-so
Dressed with a bra = pretty productive
Dressed with a bra AND make-up = Woah!!!! What's going on?

Oh, man. If I don't have a bra on...it's gonna be a bad bad day. Where's Wark??? This seems like exactly the type of conversation he'd love!! ;)

HAHA, since I'm very chesty, I don't go anywhere without harnessing these suckers!!! LOL

I find if I don't put one on before I clean and stuff, I don't do as good a job!

I have the same problem. Nods and head-shaking. Will worry when I can't write something better for the second draft.
