I was reading some of my friends work the other day...not even her WIP. Suddenly i realized that everything I had written in my WIP was crap and cried when i got home.

Can I put my stuff in the Wangstbasket (Lori TM) too? I don't feel like a writer anymore. I've written something that no one understands. And I'm not sure how to make it better.
For the first time in a long time, I'm wondering... why bother? You are clearly not as good as you think you are.

I'm still reading the book in question and have to stop every few pages just to take in the fact that I know this person. Which means very little; I didn't write the book - they did. But I feel a bit devious, like I have a sneak preview of something the world hasn't yet discovered.
DAMN. I want to know so I can line up to buy said book. It sounds good.
PS: I love sneak peeks. I've gotten a few myself. When they get published I feel so honored to have read them as word documents. It's quite trippy, actually.
Isn't that a cool feeling though? Like discovering an unknown treasure or some not so cheesy simile.
