Weird scene for latest Sleepless in Seattleesque/Win a Date with Tad Hamilton came to be as I was putting up the grocery cart. I had an idea for a meet cute with a runaway cart...sigh....me thinks I need a nap!

The one thing I hate about NaNo is that you don't have time to perfect the plot. At least, I'll know what I want to edit by December.

If I read something in a book I don't know, I just google it. But I agree with Peachie.
Oh, I forgot they were having a Guy Fawkes fireworks display in my little suburb-like town place. They're only 2 nights too late.

I know how you feel, Kathleen. Just look at it like you're writing a second first draft. That gives you permission to not do so hot. After all, you are writing everything technically from scratch, even if you have a reference.

That's how I feel, but I'm taking mental notes/notes on what I want to happen so that when it's time to edit, I can go through and change everything.

Hey guys. My laptop broke. So if I'm not in here nearly as often as normal, that would be why. I'm back to fighting with my mom over the computer which is really bad since we're both writers with novels that we want to work on all the time.
