I have finally finished my manuscript and it is ready for submission. I wanted to know from the experienced and published lurking on the board, in terms of the dreaded synopsis – do agents generally ask for the longer one, and if so how many pages do most people’s consist of? Also how common is it for an agent to ask for a synopsis as opposes to the first three chapters?
Somehow I am completely stressing out about the synopsis. My manuscript was a pleasure to write, I even had fun with the query letter, but the synopsis is giving me a panic attack. Did anyone else feel this way?
Thanks for your help.
