Mr Fixit's International Computer Helpline has moved to Vancouver.

I've read some forums but they're all in crazy techie-speak I don't understand.

I'm half dead. Not enough sleep, and tonight's my last chance to see my boy until Sunday because I'm going to Rothesay for the weekend. Must.... stay..... awake....

No, not yet. The agency I was using charge horrendous fees, and do a credit check, which I wouldn't pass. They also want the first month's rent paid by credit or debit card and subsequent rent payments by Standing Order, but because I've been bad

I'm not allowed those things. I might go direct to a dodgy landlord who prefers to be be paid in cash and turns up at my door once a month to stare down my cleavage. I can hardly wait...

I did the split sleep thing last night - I slept for three hours then woke up again to see my boy (which didn't work so well - our laptops are pretty much gubbed!) then went back to sleep again later, and I actually feel okay. Maybe it's just weekend excitement...
