One question. It's a sexy look, but why doesn't Howl put his arms in his sleeves? LOL

Would readers get tired of depressing scenes? I think I'll have 10 in a row... :(

Ah lucky girl Amna :D Looking for Alaska was great, but I didn't like Abundance as much.

I just ordered I am Messenger with my Xmas gift card cause I wanted my own copy. But I'm not sure about Getting the Girl, do you know if you have to read Fighting Reuben Wolfe first? I heard Getting is a sequel somewhere, and I can't for the life of my get a hold of Reuben. *sad face*

Karla, I think it depends how you write it. Some depressing books are marvelous, some depressing books make me so upset I can't read them.

Maybe. AC gets pretty depressing around the end, but Riley keeps the dark humor going. Like Choco said, I guess... it depends on whether it's interesting or not.

Nice choices, Amna :D <3

OMG I am now at the part where Howl's hair turns red and he freaks out... this movie is awesome!

THe Forest of Hands and Teeth had to be the most depressing book I've ever read, but it was beautifully written

Yes Peachie it is! Hair scene is one of my fave parts :D

Ahh I couldn't stand Forest after a while. Everything was just so...horrible. Even solid writing couldn't make me like it--just the characters and one thing after another and...*sigh*

ETA: hey jade :D

I have a question........

Let's say Person A was run over by a car. His wife's at home and she's a drunk. His kids are away.

....How long will it take to inform the wife/kids and which one will be informed?

.........oO

RESIST AMNA! *pines for Reuben*

Yay cash :D

Jade, I'd go to story research like Arya suggested. They've got some really helpful people there :D

I would thiiink it would probably be the wife, just because they would probably get the contact information through the address on Person A's license. Perhaps? Hard to say if they would phone or show up at the door and when that would be. I suppose they would need someone to ID the body? *babbles on even though she has no clue what she's talking about*

Why do so many Wii games require overpriced numchucks? *scowls*

ETA: Annnd I'm listening to Lily Allen's song, F*ck You. I keep wanting to sing along, but there are smallish children around. :tongue

I think it depends on how old the kids are. I think they'd tell both, but since the wife isn't exactly in the best state they might ask the kids (only if they're adults) to deal with the police stuff or whatever it is
