Ha! That's so what happened to me. I actually ran into a bookstore with five minutes left before closing as they were trying to shut the door to buy Eclipse.

I devoured all the books in like two weeks and then I was like WTF did I just read.

I did the same thing. I remember running to B and N during THanksgiving Holidays to buy Breaking Dawn.

It's srsly like it takes over your life. I've never had a book do that to me before, and I gotta say, I hope it never does. I like them to touch me, not make me we warped and obsessed(as I gaze as my RPatz calender...lol)

At least you didn't go stand in line at midnight. Ugh.

Though, I must say, had I been looking to pick up, there were many (MANY) single fathers who wre sligtly mortified and more than slightly bored as they waited for their teen daughters to get theie Twilight fixes.

Laurie: I had so many WTF moments, it wasn't even funny. I actually caught myself re-reading certain parts.

That's cuz I was a late bloomer! I would have TOTALLY been there, elbowing old ladies outta the way to get my copy!!

Damn, I'm always late to the show. Late to Twilight and Harry Potter.

Sighs!

Over the course of the series, I started to realize (just my opinion, not to ruffle any feathers) that the books really weren't that good. Then I read BD, and it was such a mindfrick that I was just laughing, going this is ludicrous. Breaking Dawn was eighteen kinds of awesome in its total insanity.

That's why I like to reread them. To go, "WWWHHHAAT?"

And yes, Breaking Dawn is two words:

EPIC FAIL

Aw, thanks girlie!

How goes it? Was your trip good?

BTW: Are you on Twitter?

It really was! My mom made us lots of yummy Indian food, I hung out with my brother and boyfriend, and it was really nice. I wish I were still there, instead of having to go to work tomorrow. :(

I'm actually not on Twitter, but I am on Facebook.

I wasn't a Breaking Dawn fan at all. I finished with and was left with a total, "wtf?" But I still love the series. Can't help it. It's a sickness.

I'm with you, Char. I pushed myself to get through BD. I was pissed that people didn't die in the end and there wasn't a war. LAME.

But I do wish I could figure out what spell SMeyer cast on her words, so I can use it. :evil

I was a fan of Jacob's chapter titles in BD. :D *loves Jacob* However, his angsty snarkiness was completely screwed over when he FELL IN LOVE WITH A BABY. *facepaw*

I was gonna say Jacob's section was the best part of BD but then I thought of the baby love and it all felt negated.

I, for one, love BD. Maybe it was just a giant experiment in satire. I love it cause it felt like Smeyer was just like 'read this, bitches!' And it was INSANE.

Nope, very child molestery....ew, gross, gross!!!

I don't have kids yet, but I wouldn't want some 17 yr old dude hanging around my kid, "protecting her" till she came of age to bang.

I wanted Jacob and Leah to get together. Poor Leah. She was a srsly shit on character!!!

It wasn't even the molestation thing that squicked me. It was the fact that Jacob's whole PERSONALITY changed with Nessie. He wasn't even Jacob anymore - he was some sensitive romantic squishy Gary Stu. Everything I loved about Jacob was GONE with that stupid mutant vampire baby.

Dude, every character died an emotional death in Breaking Dawn. Even Edward was way, way over the edge. It was just bad, epic freaking bad, epic burn the damn thing, bad.

Sighs...

THIS.

I wished for it during most of the book.
