For instance, if Silver King had posted above me, I would do this:

Silver King.
That tune made me hungry.

By the way, why do we have so many song-related threads in this forum lately? Every time I turn around, there's a new discussion about songs describing all manner of things.

I'm not against music or anything, but how long will this trend continue? If it keeps up much longer, and more and more new song threads appear, I'll have to merge all of them into one all encompassing discussion to help tidy up this room. And that won't be pretty, as well as requiring a lot of work on my part.

Anyway, I'll lock this one for now and reopen it later this evening so that this message doesn't get lost on the following page.

Hee, hee. Good concept for a thread. Okay I'm game. Now let's see. The person above me would be Silver King. A Mod ...

Hmm. Nearly forgot about the, err, letter I've got to mail. Be back in a bit.

far from the madding crowd
This song reminds me of the Silver King:

Fisherman's Blues by The Waterboys

"I wish I was a fisherman
tumblin' on the seas
far away from dry land
and it's bitter memories
castin' out my sweet line
with abandonment and love
no ceiling bearin' down on me
save the starry sky above..."
