lol I'm just guessing. The job of a query letter is to sell the agent on the concept and potential but the job of the synopsis is to provide them with a map of what you have created and to help them see how your plot holds up. If you included information about the series, the agent would likely assume it was in the book.

I've boiled the synopsis down to one page for the first book. I'm not mentioning that it's the beginning of a series.

I have had a very productive evening with ya ladies. I have threatened to slap people around, parried about bad advice, added all the agents I could find from my possible query list to my twitter, changed my twitter background, listened to my entire playlist... oh and I worked. I helped customers find the outfits of their dreams. How could I forget - my favorite - I was able to quote Jame Gumb - epic!
