There isn't as such a service like Lulu in the Uk, though Lulu do have a UK presence here. They use both Amazon and LSI print facilities based in the UK.

The closest to what you are looking for is this company, very reputable - York Publishing Services.

Another alternative is Pen Press.

Have a browse of the reviews on my site. There are other possibilities as well, but much depends on your own goals and needs for your book.

As an afterthought, LSI are the closest you will probably get to Lulu in the UK. That does mean applying to Nielsens for a block of ISBN's and setting up a commercial account with them. If you can use Lulu's online design wizards, then most of the files are downloadable and can be uploaded to LSI.

There is a little more involved, but the rewards are greater, margins as well as the sense that you are truly self-publishing.

I think the Lulu equivalent to Lulu may be Lulu . They have UK based printers and support. There is a UK-users subforum on their website that might be helpful?
