I still don't think she's a good Sookie. And her accent is like nails on a chalkboard.
Eric on the otherhand.... ;-)
ERIC is the man!

Eric will also find himself in a new romance, with Yvetta, a Czech dancer at Fangtasia. Natasha Alam, an actress from Uzbekistan who has appeared on several episodes of The Bold and the Beautiful, will be the much-envied woman sharing intimate moments with Alexander Skarsgard.
Hmm, as if by magic the two True Blood threads merged. How cool is that![]()

Hm, not my cup of tea...I think he's kind of a sissy-girl (*runs for cover). Can we change the title to "True Blood: The Eric Northman show"?
Just kidding...... sort of.![]()

I prefer the guy who plays the brother. He's dirty.
We've only had Series One in the UK. But 'getting his hair foiled' - I'm sorry, but even if he were breaking in a wild stallion, he does it with foiled hair, he a sissy-girl.Jason? Oh, you can have him all to yourself.Eric is more of a badass in the books. But sissy-girl? You didn't see the episode where he ripped the guy limb from limb while getting his hair foiled? Now that takes a manly man...to pull off.

Listen, lady, my Tom could have your Eric in a fight, any day! That guy in your Sig was in Wuthering Heights, right?
At least you won't be fighting me for Eric.![]()

Wh-what? How far back could your purchase be before they stop honoring that, I wonder. I've had mine for over a year now, got the Kindle 2 right after it came out.
Now season 2 is on UK TV, I've seen that episode...OK, so he's not a sissy-girl.Jason? Oh, you can have him all to yourself.Eric is more of a badass in the books. But sissy-girl? Not having read the books, I can only comment on the episodes of the show. Given that, I really have zero problems with any of the casting. Methinks Sookie is a believable, likable person who is young and stubborn but kind and judgmental. Anna Paquin (who has done a very good job with every role I've ever seen her in) does a fine job of portraying her in the series.
Erik is an interesting character. So is Bill. I must admit my favorite characters are Jessica and her human boyfriend--and I understand the former is entirely original to the series.
Sookie is a mega ho in the books. She sleeps with everything and what she does not sleep with, she dreams of sleeping with. lol
She's also kind of....an airhead.
I can't wait for Season 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!
