I will never understand the American practice of eating bacon with syrup. It seems so...wrong.
Nobody has a Simon from Firefly icon yet? He's my fave! Well, him and Book.
I don't do bacon with syrup (and don't know anyone who does) but it doesn't seem so wrong to me since we do ham with syrup... Mmmm maple ham!! Or ham and cheese crepes with maple syrup!!! OMG! It's that time of the year! I sooo know what we aare doing this weekend!! Cabanne a Sucre!! Here I come!! *bounces with excitement*
What's Sugar Sunday? It sounds good!

As for grits, I'm a butter, salt, pepper and cheese girl. Sugar in them sounds disgusting!
Ugh--NOOOO! My bacon is not allowed to touch my syrup--blech! Then again, I don't like any foods touching what they aren't supposed to. I even dip my pancakes in syrup half the time, so it doesn't run all over the plate. Plus, soggy pancakes = yuck.
Yes, I'm weird. Deal with it.
