Most of the emails in my junk box are wow scams. Makes me angry cause I didn't get any at all until blizzard switched from usernames to email account as username.

Sometimes the things Blizzard does makes my brain here.

ETA: And for the record, I like the male worgen dance. If you pretend you don't know who it's taken from, it's actually quite nice. (If you're into the long flowing lines. Which I am. I <3 ballet.)

Weird. I only got one, maybe two spam wow scam emails. I get more ingame ones than anything.

I'm a little disappointed in a lot of changes. I understand why they'd make Azshara horde-dominant, but I expect at least a balance of both because of the NE connection. And Garrosh becoming warchief - not thrilled. I hate him.

Honestly, IMO they have plenty to play with. And we already have Varian 'kill all horde' Wrynn. Did we really need a 'kill all alliance' equivalent? Horde and Alliance are gonna have bigger problems when Deathwing blasts through the world

Let Varian and Garrosh fight to the death. They can kill each other and everyone will be all the happier (Varian's the only leader I never get bummed about when hordies come to visit). And I'd be super happy if someone would finally throw Fandral off the World Tree plzkthx. Kind of sucks that Malfurion, after being gone all that time, spends his time in Darkshore. What a waste.

-Fandral is brain-dead lying around in Moonglade ATM (officially)
-Malfurion appears in 3 different places in Cata.
--Leading the army at the World Tree.
--At Darkshore fighting with Azshara
--Ruling in Darnassus with Tyrande (who he finally agreed to officially mate with)
So, yeah, kinda busy.

Well, Wrynn acquits himself at the top of Icecrown. He's not quite the bloodthirsty maniac he appears to be. Thing is, the acquittal was kind of phoned in.

I dunno. I'd have gone a different way. I don't work for them, of course. Given the writing they seem to prefer, I'm not sure I can.

Eh, I dunno. He seems to say that waiting around for groups is an important aspect of the MMO experience. Heck, I can do that at the bar. I really like the Looking For Instance functionality.

Most of his other observations seem valid though.

And I didn't know that about Malfurion, the only thing I read was about the Darkshore location

I have to agree. If I had to choose between the old system of sitting in a major city for hours trying to find a tank to do a dungeon run and the new way, I'd always choose the random dungeon finder. Not all of us play on full servers, and I'd rather not go back to spending more time trying to assemble a group than actually being in the dungeon. Besides which, in the years of running with just people from my server, I only encountered a handful of people who were both good enough players and nice enough people to warrant going on my friends list for future groups. My ignore list, on the other hand, filled up pretty quickly.

TL;DR version: no thanks on finding my own group (unless I'm running with guildmates). I did that enough to know that it was just as much of a crapshoot as the cross server groups, and it took far more time.

I heard from a tester that ZG will be remade into some form of solo instance.

This bug report also gives some insight (but you didn't get it from me.)

Wiki supports it, as does this video.

Wasn't old news to me

I would LOVE it if ZG gets made to a solo instance. I'm kind of peeved that they're taking the Baron out of game, the least they could do is up the droprate on his damn mount before he goes so we don't waste so much time trying to farm it. Too much to ask?

I don't think I've ever completed ZG before - it's the one with all the voodoo trolls, right?

I've never bothered to collect mounts either, as I think I waste enough time playing the game as it is (or use to). However, the undead horse is pretty sweet.

The Baron isn't technically gone. He's just being replaced with Aurius Rivendare, whose current loot table in Cataclysm still has the Deathcharger

(And the drop rate remains unchanged so far.)

Nothing definite on the ZG mounts yet, but if it's no longer a raid area I would expect they wouldn't stick around. If you still need one, I suggest finding someone to help you farm for them, you just need to help each other until each of you has the mounts.
