Afternoon team. All your homework talk is making me glad that I don't start university until the 27th. 
The more I work on my YA project, the more overwhelmed I feel. I could spend a year just world-building (wartime, airships, armies of dragons, aerial bombardments, barrage balloons, sympathetic magic, feudalism, sky pirates ...) and only scratch the surface. I have no freaking idea what I'm doing. Send help.

I was supposed to start homework 25 minutes ago as I write this line, but I got caught up in applying to Columbia College Chicago. Specifically, the letter of recommendation I want my creative writing professor to fill out since I'm going to take Fiction Writing as my major at Columbia.
I'll start HW in 30 minutes... Maybe I'll be able to focus by then.

It was disgusting yesterday. 88 degrees and humid as heck. And then it started raining and it really cooled off quick. It's been pouring rain all day today. Which SUCKS because I was planning on going to the football game tonight, but I'm definitely not if it's still raining. I'm pretty good.

I love wearing jeans but anything hotter than that I have to wear shorts. I hope it stops raining and doesn't get hot and humid again tonight so I can wear them to the football game.
I'm going swimming after my next class. I'm excited, because then I might actually be COOL for a change...
Ooo that sounds nice. I went outside and it's actually kind of cold here. Still humid, but it's not in the upper eighties anymore.
