Great advice Gillhoughly. I agree especially on Goodreads.com... I'd say 50% of my sales came from socializing/interacting there.
As for an Amazon page.. I haven't figured that out. I have searched and searched for some way to make an author's profile there... but can't locate it, yet I see some author's have managed. I have 3 books for sale there, but a blank author's profile... ug... Eventually I'll find it! If anyone has a tip or pointer, I'd be very grateful!
As for the comment about epublished authors not getting picked up with traditional print houses... well, I dunno, can only speak for myself. I have yet to submit to a print house. I wrote three stories, all with 6 different epublishers in mind. I submitted to those six and sold all 3 of my stories... so hazarding a guess here, but I think I targetted just right. I have WIPs I intend for print houses and when they are ready, I hope my success ratio continues! =oP
