Black Books

I couldn't find a thread about this absolutely brilliant and fantastic comedy. Is it possible that you all haven't discussed it yet?

Either way, I recently discovered Black Books (on Hulu) and absolutely fell in love. I usually don't go for that sort of program, but this was just so so so wonderful. Has anyone seen it? I think that many people on this community especially would love it so very much.

You want to buy a book? Well not that one. I like that one

That was a well written and perfectly acted sitcom with a theme so bizarre that it was even believeable. Unfortunately the cretins at dishnetwork have something against it so it will never tape. I should buy the discs and call it a christmas gift. They only play drek anyway between Halloween and New Year's anyway because they want people out shopping. It was fun to see the main actor from Black Books show up in "Shaun of the Dead"

Written by Graham Linehan. Starring Dylan Moran and Bill Bailey.

How can you go wrong?

Too many favourite moments to choose from. I always liked the Closed sign on the door.

Actually there is a thread -- somewhere. Started by me, I think. For sure I posted a couple of episodes. The one where they wrote a book...

UNfortunately, with lots of ads. And it's the whole episode, not just a clip.

It has Bill Bailey in it. Therefore it wins.

It's a great series.

Black Books is one of my all-time favourite shows. I love Graham Linehan's style of humour. We have the box set of all the episodes (as well as those for Father Ted and The IT Crowd), and go on regular viewing binges.

Got the boxset, and love it.

One of the best British sitcoms of all time.

But more important is how you deal with rejection.

In other news, thanks to this thread I'm watching it all again. It's always even better than I remember.
